Overview

Obsidian Backup is a personal-use integration that uses rclone to back up locally stored Obsidian vault files to the user's Google Drive.

Google User Data

The integration uses Google Drive authorization to upload, list, retrieve, and manage backup files according to the user's configuration.

Depending on the OAuth permissions granted, rclone may have access to other Google Drive files. The intended use is limited to managing Obsidian backups.

Data Storage and Security

Backup files are stored in the user's own Google Drive account. OAuth credentials are managed locally by rclone.

This website does not receive or store Google OAuth tokens or Obsidian vault files. Backup files are not published through this website.

Data Sharing

Google user data is not sold or shared with advertisers. Files are transferred to Google Drive for the backup purpose authorized by the user.

Data Retention and Deletion

Backup retention is controlled by the user's backup configuration. The user can delete backups directly from Google Drive.

Google account access can be revoked through the user's Google Account security settings. Locally stored OAuth credentials can also be removed from rclone.

Website

This is a static informational website. It does not provide access to backup files. The hosting provider may process standard website traffic information.
